This private residence required a complete renovation and addition to update and "square-up" creative, 1970's angular architecture. The existing structure was post and beam  architecture.  A high-end, two-story addition included a master bedroom/bath suite, two children's bedrooms and baths plus office space, playroom and guest living suite.

The existing living quarters were completely gutted and updated with high-end finishes, including cherry cabinetry, granite slab countertops, wood/marble flooring, built-in cabinetry in great room and family room/den .  The beams and columns were discovered during renovation to be from 200 year old trees. Special care was taken to hand-hewn the beams and utilize them in the new living spaces for an old-world, craftsman style finish.

This project, due to it's complexities and substantial overhaul will be submitted to many industry publications for editorial coverage.
